Doughnuts and Dialogue

Mitchell County High School believes parents are the most important partners and contributors to student success. The month of November is Parent Involvement Month, and administrators hosted “Doughnuts and Dialogue” on November 10, 2011. The purpose of the event was to invite parents to bring questions, concerns, and/or suggestions regarding policy and procedures, curriculum, discipline, and future steps towards student achievement. The event brought approximately 20 parents who enjoyed discussion and refreshments. Parents also participated in a drawing and one lucky parent received a $50 American Express Gift Card! Administrators will host “Parents as Partners” events throughout the 2011-2012 school year.

Parent Portal Training
Parents can view their children's grades at any time using the Parent Portal on Infinite Campus. For more information on how to use the parent portal, call 336-0970.

Grade Level Socials are held throughout the first nine weeks.  Parent conferences are held throughout the year.  If you missed the parent conferences on February 16, please call 229-336-0970 to schedule a conference with your child's teachers.
